1. Isaac Brock
I checked the information from Google: Isaac Brock was 43 years old when he died defending Niagara from the American invasion at Queenston Heights on Oct. 13, 1812.
He loved to learn. He read many works on military tactics and science, but ancient history and other topics also interested him.

2.Tecumseh
Tecumseh was a Native American leader of the Shawnee and a large tribal confederacy. He  was born about March 1768.

3. Laura Secord
Laura Secord was a Canadian heroine of the War of 1812. She is known for having walked 20 miles out of American-occupied territory in 1813 to warn British forces of an impending American attack. Most Canadians associate her with the Laura Secord Chocolates company, named after her on the centennial of her walk.

4. Charles de Salaberry
Charles de Salaberry was a French-speaking Canadien of the seigneurial class who served as an officer of the British army in Lower Canada.

How can my English skills improve every day?

How can my  English skills improve every day?
1. The best ways to improve my English are to jion a class and try to use English in dailylife. 
    A. I Lean English with my classmates at the LINC class. We talk about a lot of fascinating things use English, and our teacher give us some good advices to improve our English in our class.
   B. English is language, so I think that I have to talk about each other use this language, face to face, more and more speak to improve our English in every day.
2. The good way to improve my English is to study English with my son and try to see some English movies, cartoons, news in dailylife.
    A. I do my homework with my son in my home. By the way, I can rember a few different words with my son.
    B. My son very likes English movie, cartoons, so I watch TV with my son, this is good way to improve my English's pronounce.
3. The good way toimprove my English is to do a job, and try to use English in dailylife.
   A I am a art teacher. So I try to use English to Teach my studentes, and my studentes are children, I can use some simple words and sentences. 
   B. By the way, I can rember a lot of special words in my art class.

1. What were your needs/reasons for coming to LINC class?

    I were needs for coming to LINC class because I want to improve my  English's speak and write. I was a art teacher in China, I came in Canada I have to speak English, so that's my reason.

2. What things made your needs complicated or special?

    If I want to do a art teacher in  Canada, I must to know my students's meaning in my art class.  This inspired me to improve my English from LINC class. LINC teacher gave simplicity advice series with our here.

3. What were the results or outcomes of coming to LINC class?

  I have started English in LINC class for 1 year. I had a interview on wednesday, and I got a part-time job. This is the results of coming to LINC class.

  I had a favourite memory from LINC class. I visted a special museum at 2647 Bayview Ave. The daughter of a Turkmen artist is going to great lengths to carry out her father's wish and show Torontonians his work.

NDP Leader Tom Mulcair focused on mental health services for young Canadians as he announced another component of his bold plan to improve public health care and reverse the damage done by years of Liberal and Conservative neglect.
